HYPOTHYROID

EXPLANATION
Fifty-four readings are indexed as hypothyroid or
hypothyroid tendencies. Numerous other readings discuss thyroid involvement
in systemic dysfunction and recommend Atomidine. Atomidine is an
iodine supplement intended to stimulate the glandular system, especially
the thyroid.
THERAPEUTIC OPTIONS
MEDICATION
Atomidine was recommended in seventeen readings involving
hypothyroidism. Glandular extracts were also commonly recommended
with approximately eleven reading suggesting thyroid extract.
DIET
The Basic Cayce Diet is recommended for hypothyroid.
Reading 536-1 recommended that seafood be eaten.
MANUAL THERAPY
Spinal manipulations (especially to the cervical
vertebra which influence thyroid function) were commonly recommended in
cases of hypothyroid.
ELECTROTHERAPY
The radial appliance was recommended in ten readings
for persons suffering from hypothyroid.
